Automotive high-temperature masking tape is a professional solution designed for manufacturing facilities, paint booths, assembly lines, service stations, and industrial coating workshops where precision and durability are critical.
Unlike household alternatives, this masking tape offers enhanced adhesion. The backing is made of crepe paper combined with a specialized natural rubber-based adhesive that provides high tack while allowing clean removal without residue and without damaging surfaces.
Automotive masking tape ensures excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces and materials, including painted surfaces, aluminum, steel, titanium, PVC, polycarbonate, fiberglass, ABS, acrylic, polyurethane, rubber, certain types of polyethylene and polypropylene, glass, ceramics, and treated wood.
It creates perfectly sharp paint lines and ensures reliable surface protection in automotive and mechanical engineering applications. The tape is designed for stable performance in drying booths (withstands up to +110–130°C) and under infrared (IR) curing, without losing integrity or melting.
The tape coating is inert to most modern paints and coatings (both water-based and solvent-based), preventing paint bleed-through onto protected areas. Its crepe structure allows easy application over complex curves, arches, and sharp edges without lifting in tension areas.
