Lavsan fabric insulation tape is a polyester-based material with enhanced heat resistance and strength, designed for protecting onboard electronics and wiring. This PET insulation tape is engineered for critical applications in high-temperature installations.
Thanks to the unique properties of the synthetic polymer, it offers exceptional wear resistance and does not degrade under constant friction and abrasion. Lavsan is characterized by excellent temperature stability, maintaining its original dielectric properties across a wide operating range from -30°C to +150°C.
The rubber-based adhesive contains no solvents and provides instant bonding on both rough and smooth metal surfaces. The optimal flexibility of the material, combined with high cohesive strength, ensures reliable fastening without the risk of unwinding or deformation.
A special impregnation makes the tape resistant to aging, rotting, and the negative effects of UV radiation. Lavsan insulation tape also effectively dampens internal noise, squeaks, and vibrations, making it an ideal anti-noise solution.
